Data we collect
When you send a reservation request or a message, we collect the information you enter in the form:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone or WhatsApp number
- The tour or activity you choose, the date and the number of participants
- The options you select and your message
- The language of the page you used
- Technical security data, such as a hashed version of your IP address used to limit spam and repeated submissions
Why we use your data
We use your data only to answer your request, to confirm and organise your activity with you, to meet our legal obligations and to keep the website and its forms secure. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
Visitor statistics
To understand how the website is used, we count visits with our own first party statistics. They do not use cookies and do not store personal identifiers. To count unique visitors, a short anonymous code is computed from your IP address and browser and changes every day. Your raw IP address is not stored.
Google Analytics is not active on this website. If we decide to use it in the future, it will only load after you give your consent.
Who receives your data
Your data is handled by the Quad Ouarzazate team. Our technical providers process it on our behalf only to run the service: the website is hosted by Hostinger, and our email provider delivers the messages sent by the forms. These providers may process data on servers located outside Morocco.
If you contact us on WhatsApp, your messages are handled by WhatsApp, a third party service with its own privacy policy. Please read it before you use the service.
How long we keep your data
By default, we keep reservation requests and messages as long as needed to handle them, and then for up to 3 years after our last contact with you, unless a longer period is required by law. Technical security data is kept only as long as needed to protect the forms.
Your rights
Personal data is protected in Morocco by Law No. 09-08 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data. Under this law you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected and to object to its processing for legitimate reasons.
Where applicable, visitors from the European Union may also have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), such as erasure or restriction of processing. To exercise your rights, write to contact@quad-ouarzazate.com.
Security
Access to reservation requests is restricted to the Quad Ouarzazate team through a protected administration area, and form submissions are checked to limit spam and abuse.
